Chateau de Meursault is one of the most historic properties in all of France. 1,000 years of agricultural history supplying local areas with all kind of fruits, vegetable, and of course, WINE!
Until the French Revolution, the winery was controlled by Royalty, after it was sold to a Meursault local business man Jean Boillaud. Since then it has been controlled and owned by locals, and has been making some of the best wine in the region.
CLos du Chateau Blanc is made from their Estate winery of Chardonnay on the original property. It is a declassified Monopole. The wine is an incredible example of White Burgundy and is better than almost all Chardonnay in this price point.
